Because of this thread I got a TarranTool and stuck a few orings on it (LP/DIN) and one of my LP hoses came loose last weekend and the oring extruded, went to hand tighten it and pinched a bit of it which of course sheared it. Popped one off the tarran, installed, moved on w/ the dive. This is done IN the water all geared up and after climbing down a hillside. SOOO glad I had it on me.

It's a crutch that people phasing in and out of Munchausen's have convinced themselves they require
even going to the extreme of not maintaining even neglecting their gear, as to falsely prove its worth
 
I cannot roll my eyes hard enough.

Every once in a while I click on “Show ignored content” to see if someone has improved his contributions to the Board’s diving discussion.

Unfortunately, I see my choice to Ignore someone re-affirmed more than removed.
 
But nothing compares to the pulsating feeling I get from continuing to keep my end up
