we have a couple of horses
Now that my job is going away I'm working on getting a horse shoeing business going again...that's what I used to do
I've been doing lots of blacksmithing...hopefully I can suppliment my income while I build a shoeing clientel.
A little Fishing and some archery...real bows, not mackines that shoot arrows. LOL I've been meaning to make a bow but I haven't scheduled it in yet. Oh, and if you shoot a bow and are a blacksmith it just doesn't seem tight not to throw a hatchet so I do a little of that too.

boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, archery(compound bow),horses ,anything outside. Not sky diving though or not flying in those itty bitty planes.Hights are bad, fast is good, like a zx10,but only on the back with my husband driving.Oh, i also love gardening and cooking.

Plan dive trips.

Here's a 2 part question:

1- What other sports hobbies do you have?
2- How many of you do those other things a lot less or not at all since getting your cert?

I do a lot of other things casually. Scuba is my only serious hobby at the moment. I used to train Kung-fu as well but it was too busy to keep on with two serious hobbies a full time job, family life etc so I made a choice and stopped with Kung-fu. No regrets (except maybe the extra kilos... :) )

I've also become somewhat addicted to playing Quake3 Arena on the internet (despite being "too old" for comuter games). I've become pretty good at it. :)

I referee hockey in the winter,.

You have my respect. I did that for one season when I was a teenager and believe me "refereeing hockey" is definition number one of "thankless job". After the first season they hounded me to come back to the point that I was really frustrated so I finally told them that I would do it for $200 per game. They declined an found another sucker to do it instead. I was never happier to *not* get a job.

Wow! We used to play that game daily at my old job. IT installed every ad on skin, model, and map you can think of. He set up a game server for us over the T1. We'd be on there every day during lunch...and sometimes after work.

Whenever people joined fromthe web, we would all ganf up on them!

You mean there is more to life than Scuba?
