Hypothetically if one were to get a Safari cover. Would any functionality get lost? Does the seat saver still work?

I have never been inside of a second stage so I have no idea how that feature works.

No loss, the r195 has the same seat saver function— officially they are g260/r195 covers

Look around for one that’s more „local“, hopefully cheaper

That is awesome. Ive wanted a Safari cover but didnt think I could get them anymore. Only problem is Im paying in dollars and I am not sure what kind of Monopoly money amount is listed on that website 😂

I do not think those are official Scubapro covers, are they in a catalog? Scubapro would have color matched the decals on the purge like they did for the real G200/G250 hand painted covers:

Mardi Gras:

Surf, one of two I have:

An R195 cover would be easy to refinish or dip. A G260 not so easy due to the anodized beauty ring. These are G250 covers, red or blue metallic base, hydro dip film and the 2K gloss clear. I might would do the R195 in a matte or satin finish:

I think they just don't put as much love into it anymore

I belive it was an EU run, the only time I saw them mentioned on SP website is on the polish version:

they for sure don't match up to the g250 ones

oh how I pray for a crystal re-issue

I wish the same. It will never happen. We will see a titanium Mark 2 Evo or a new titanium Mark 11 Evo before we see a crystal G260. But we can wish for cool things.

We just gotta make a ritual sacrifice of unused mouthpieces and keep wishing real hard
(For all the above 😅)

The price of cool, but you may find someone more local to the part to pick one up and mail it to you.
I’m a local to that shop, and shipping DE to US is ~22€
(I can lowball the customs label to lower tariffs)

Ball is in Ez‘s court — if you’d like DM me

It’s is a 195 cover but make sure you also get the gray washer too. Still unnecessary for the color on the faceplate, it’s more important that you know where your spare is.
Yep. Need a friction ring when ditching the metal for plastic. Simon told me that when I was imitating his conversions so he included an order of those when he was ordering the 195 covers for me.

Other than that the 195 plate and you're GTG.

Me, personally, yellow is my favorite color so that mod would be totally worthwhile...

I leave off the silly locking pin. Scubapro should too.
