new luminox seal watch, havent gotten it wet yet :frown:

Luminox Seal Watch which stopped dead on my first dive and was not the battery !!! Sent it back and now has over 50 more dives with no problems.

Heuer, now TAG Heuer! I have an old Professional that has made hundreds of dives and some well over 200 feet. I also have a Heuer Formula 1 and a St. Moritz cheapo. I got he St. Moritz because it looked nice, was cheap and is expendable.
As to shiney braclets, it has never been a problem but my Formula 1 has a black rubber band with TAG Forula 1 embossed on it. The Professional has a double clasp expanding brushed stainless band and case.
Heuer has been making dive specific watches for a long time, their new 2000 series Aquaracer for example has a dive helmet engraved on the back, is good for 300 meters and is available in quartz and automatic versions. The new model Formula 1 has rubber case cushions, a huge screw down crown and a titanium nitride coated steel one way bezel for scratch and damage resistence.
I also have a Rolex Diver purcahsed out of Skindiver for 180 dollars--NEW---in circa 66 and it is still going but the Heuer is a better dive watch with an easier grip on the bezel and crown, my opinion. N

I also have the 3401 Stealth watch. The review below is mine from reviewwatches.com

"Poor man's Tag Heuer" with better night performance (tritium). I'm a PADI Rescue Diver and on night or low visibility dives this watch is unsurpassed! I have tested these watches down to 100+ ft during day and night conditions and had no problems whatsoever. Please make sure your double gasket crown is fully set (pushed in) or else your watch will work for about 5 seconds underwater. I have seen people loose $1000+ Tag Heuer’s by not screwing or setting their crowns correctly. Warranties will not hold due to misuse. Watch will lose time after 3 years of battery life so have a jeweler change it.

Tritium is a radioactive form of hydrogen, used in research, fusion reactors and neutron generators. The radioactive properties of tritium are very useful. By mixing tritium with a chemical that emits light in the presence of radiation, a phosphor, a continuous light source is made. This radioactive gas is used in making these watches, exit signs, and gun sites.

Poseidon8118:
I also have some Invictas, a Wenger, and a Swatch Scuba 200 as shown below.
Poseidin, you have some great looking watches there. How do you manage so many? Here are a few of mine, a couple are missing, one is being serviced and another is at my work place. These are a Heuer Kirium, Heuer new model Formula 1, Heuer, old model Formula 1 and a old Carravelle and a St Moritz Momentum. N

Poseidin, these of course are not all watches but I thought you might like my collection of analog vintage guages. Some of these go back into the late 50s. This is only a few picked from my collection. These all work very well. N

Awesome collection Nemrod! I like to collect watches from time to time (no pun intended). I have some dress and Russian army watches as well but only posted my scuba collection.

I really like your collection of Tag Heuer's and have yet to acquire one myself. It would be great to add a Tag Pro (WAB1110.BA0800) and a Omega Seamaster to my collection in the future!

I also like the Tekna regulator...when I started diving in the 80's it seemed that half the divers I knew had this model.

Do you ever use any of the vintage gauges from time to time it would be very nostalgic?

This is about the best priced online site I've seen for fine Swiss watches.
