Nope. I get out of mine as fast as I can so I can head to the ladder and have a pee.Are you guys staying in your suit during your surface interval? IME, That'll suck the heat right out of you.
Wow, I must be doing something wrong or right. 4 dives, 72 on the bottom here in Tampa Bay last week and I was in a full 3 mil and felt great. 80 degrees and I'd be in a long sleeve moisture wicking shirt and fishing pants.

. . . This time will be there on New Year's Eve for 11 days so not sure what to do . Just doing daily two tank dives.I'm fairly insulated but I'm thinking a shorty maybe 2 or 3 mm. Do y'all think that's sufficient . . . ?
I've never used a wet suit since I did my open water cert in a quarry in the summer years ago and I hated it and thought I was glowing to cook in it and ran to the water to cool off. Since then we've done all our diving in July/august in coz and the keys.

Thanks much and happy thanksgiving. I sure am thankful we can go to coz for New Years!
The responses are all over the place but if I decide to invest in a shorty I didn't read anything about how much more weight I'd needWhat in addition to all the replies to the original post would help you decide?
