Were to get some Neoprene pieces?

I have to make a patch for my dogs chest protector, I need it to be 3mm or 5mm/ 12'' x 36". Im just not sure were to get that materal, I was thinking of asking a LDS if they have any old suits that they will give to me for really cheep. Or does anyone have a old 3mm/5mm shorty they will sell to me for my dogs for protection from thorn bushes and rasor grass.

Google around, there are others. Many are not the higher densities used for dive wear but are OK for repairs and odd projects.
