My question is why she didn't go to the chamber and/or why a staff member didn't take her to the chamber if she suspected she was bent? It's better to get checked than to do nothing!
However, it doesn't sound to me like she was in fact bent based on the information we have - bends don't go away on their own. I'm not a Dr. and don't play one on TV - so if I have a diver that is showing symptoms (regardless of how mild) we consult Dr. Piccolo or take them straight to the chamber.
Agreed, it is not the responsibility of anyone to keep her safe and it is not the dive ops, DM's, manager's, etc. fault if she was in fact bent. BUT, some common human courtesy and compassion is appropriate in this case. It sounds to me that she was more upset with the lack of assistance than anything else.
