I tell everyone I sell a suit to or teach a dry suit course to that the only way to guess at how much weight they will need is to start with a minimal amount and work up in the pool. Do not go by charts, estimates, friends, dive buddies, or the daily horoscope in the newspaper.

You need to get in the water and do proper weight checks. If you're unsure about how to do that, do it with a knowledgeable person helping.
While you're at it you can distribute them for safety and trim. Safety in that the loss of any one system or part of one system is going to allow you to still make a controlled ascent.
