would love to go but work on Wednesday Nights if it was Thursday then sure I would be there in an instance. Who knows though my work may call me off so I might be there with you two. It was fun today Rich. That ORCA was sweet!

Hey Sam, what's up ? Ok, you have my curiosity, what's this about the ORCA ?

I'm sill not sold on Orca. That would be a rare sighting. Though it was LARGE (easily 3x a dolphin size) and had a dorsal fin that was easily noticed from the beach. After reading my wife's psychology studies on perspective and perception I would say it was a Dolphin. But it sure looking like an Orca. Very cool!

Could have been a grey they are running this time of year. Orca they usualy dont come this far. did any one get photos

Yes Orca do come down this far once in a while especially since the waters been so cold.

jaime man the fin was really BIG. who knows though but I have never seen a triangle shaped fin that thick and big before. It look so solid and if it looked big from shore about 50 yards or so out then must have been even bigger upclose.

Wow, sounds pretty cool! I know that orcas do travel down south sometimes. There was a documented pod that used to show up around the Palos Verdes peninsula. Seeing an orca would definitely rate high in my book. Later. Jamie

Due to a nasty ear infection, I won't be able to dive this one, but, I am going to make it as "shore support".

See you guys there,
Rick
