You have it brian i already have your phone # in my cell :) i know i said that two but i will get to dive there at least once this year :)

I'll see you at 7:30 :) hopfuly the wind does not blow like it is today and it calms down :)

Ohh now you've cursed the dive.

No i havent im just stating the obivous :) it will be fine :)

The wind was blowing here in town just a bit and i thought that it was going to be a joke to go. so i got to point Mugu and saw the waves crashing full of sand and it looked all red. i thought it was going to be like last thursday night dive but i figured rich was already at the dive site so i will show up. when i got to the dive site the waves where crashing clear and only about a foot tall. I could not belive that driving down the coast just that much can hange. an how i got there about 7 and we sat around untill about 7:30 then started to gear up. We get almost all geard up and brian calls asking if the dive is called i said no he asked if we could wait for him and that he just got his tank filled and was leaving the dive shop. so we waited we finaly got in the water at about 8:30. Swam out to the kelp and decended. Once on the bottom rich signed to go to the surface so we surfaced. and his computer was not reading right it said Failed. So we fixed that problemb and went down. then we where on our way. saw some nice lobster, some brown rockfish, Lots of nudibranchs. there was one that was white black on orange that i have never seen before he was the shape of the Fedex is. about 15 min in to our dive we had a visitor it was a cute little smelt. he went around visiting all three of us. That thing was agresive. i guess rich said that it hit his mask 2 or 3 times, hit brians mask and Mine, he was also attacking our lights.we also saw some nice red rock crab, sheep crabs fighting not matting along with another one that was Huge it was the biggest sheep crab i saw. there where also some purch down there. finaly we surfaced about after 45-50 min on our surface swim in was saw A Moon Jelly. Vis was the best it has be in the longest time it was easly 6-10ft i could stray away and still see every ones light. It was aswome. Thanks for being good dive buddies Rich, and Brian. Deer creek is not cursed :) finaly after attempting 4 times

It was a great dive! Thanks for being my buddy Erika and Brian. Diving during these last couple of weeks has been low vis events that were more like training than play. Last night was a refreshing change from the routine. I love Deer Creek on days like that. Lots of structure to look at and an easy swim.

Thanks again:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

3rd time was a charm for me! That was a great dive! Thanks for being my buddies Erika and Rich! I have to say, Deer Creek was worth the 2 previous failed attempts. I wasn't expecting such beautiful terrain and all that life! Thanks guys for waiting for me as I sped down PCH avoiding CHP!

On a side note, apparently Erika acts as an aphrodisiac to crabs! We saw another pair of mating crabs chilling on the side of a rock spiderman (and woman) style...

It was not "fantastic" but the 5-10 foot vis we had was a immensely better than the last couple of weeks. We were able to easily keep track of each other. It was just a really easy dive. One of those dives where I checked out the marine life (which there was plenty). What can I say to make you a believer? It was a refreshing 46 minute dive. I'm hoping Andrew gets the same experience on Sunday. Are you going to be there?
