Just got my dives canceled this morning. Windy morning, the captain went to check the reefs and reported low visibility.
Marathon Key, not Key Largo, but pretty close.
None of local operators had trips yesterday too. Departing home with my dry gear.
Just to mention, my previous trip to the Keys was similar. Local operators cancelled trips due to recent rains, just it was in Key Largo that time. So I can't understand how all these places survive when they have to refund customers all the time... I start to assume there is no diving in Florida and all these shops only sell some gear for fools who believe in AI-created photos and videos of the opposite. :D

Ouch, it's 5 footers off Marathon today.
But the wave forecasts have been locked in for days and many people headed to ANYTHING north of Miami to go diving. Lots of ScubaBoard divers are on boats this morning because it's Women Divers Day with discount or 2'fer1 free trips.

Great to know! But it was a family vacation with hotels booked five months ago. Saved here, lost there...

We usually travel with a group of adaptive divers and they seem to schedule during mini season. not my favorite!
We'll get out 72, head for barn and pick it up on 8-6
