Little red diving hoodI like the red one so much I just might order one in time for my next trip!![]()
The only issue I can see is that it could still be damp when you have to wear it home, if you’ve been wearing it on the boat over wet things.
But TSA won’t care, they’ll just make you take it off and put it through the X-ray.
You people so amuse me at airports in the winter. Did you not know you were returning in December? I took a vest & jacket to Yellowstone in August, and wore them some. These mylar blankets can be carried in a pocket until unfolded, cheaper on ebay. You might get a few:: www.walmart.com/ip/DUKAL-CORPORATION-045036-Survival-Wrap-Blanket-Silver-52In-x-84In/40935649Right now I am wishing I brought my boat coat to Bonaire. Looks like I am headed back home to 20 something temps in a t shirt and jeans! It was in the 80’s when we left.
It's always a rush to rinse my dive suit & BC, get them dry & packed, then catch a cab 18 hours after my last dive to the airport, but they're not too moist. It should be as dry as possible in a day. This is also what I thought of...we finish diving on the 23rd and fly on the 26th, so hopefully enough time to dry.
Here they are for a buck, delivered: www.ebay.com/itm/1x-Outdoor-Emergency-Solar-Blanket-Survival-Safe-Insulating-Mylar-Thermal-Heat-S/282693188234?epid=8004983481&hash=item41d1d3ba8a:g:sxkAAOSwbiFZW38WThese mylar blankets can be carried in a pocket until unfolded, cheaper on ebay.
