Won't I sink to the bottom with 3000 pounds in my tank?

How does this dive computer read your nitrogen content through your wetsuit? (I've actually heard that one)

Spit in your wetsuit and pee in your mask.

Let's go get narced.

Pull out your dive knife during the surface swim and say "that great white that was here yesterday isn't gonna get ME!!"

You guys are just so mean. How about this one? You do know how to find your way back to the boat don't you? I flunked navigation. :eyebrow:

............."I forgot my ear plugs, do you have any I can borrow? Those voices I hear while I'm diving are really a distraction."

surely anyone here has ideas to freak out a new diver i'll start, so keep those post coming:

Most new divers don't need any additional "freaking out".

Be nice. Everybody was new once.

Tell them you want to race them to the surface.

Ask them which fin goes on what foot?

Ask which one of these thingies goes in your mouth?
