Has anyone ever used Under Armour Cold Gear as a layer or rash guard? I wore the UA Heat Gear all the time when I was in the Military; protected me from chafing when swimming in full uniform/kit.

I am looking for options or alternatives to wearing a Full Wetsuit or a Shorty. This is for warm water diving between 80-84 degrees F. I'm not looking for lightweight Lycra/Spandex full suits. I have looked at 4th Element Thermocline products, but I do not want to pay $150 for a shirt. I have considered a 1.5mm full suit like the Pinnacle Shadow 2. I have also considered wearing a thick neoprene long sleeve rash guard and Highland Pocket Shorts. It would be nice to have as much protection as possible but without getting too warm.
I would like to keep the thickness under 3mm and the cost under $200.

Does anyone travel with multiple pieces of dive attire?

Are there any alternatives to using a 3mm Full Wetsuit or Shorty?
How many dives a day are you planning on doing in those water temps? I can tell you that after a second dive at those temperatures I am chilled wearing a 3mil full suit. I wear a drysuit all summer here in the northeast, and I will wear a 5mil fullsuit in Bonaire this June

I wear UA short sleve or long sleve and swim trunks about 95% of my dive here in the Caribbean. I live here and depending on my dive profile that is all I need. I have a MARES Coral suit for overcast days when I go deep........

Only 2-3 dives a day :( , It's actually more of a Honeymoon with diving rather than a dive trip.
I'm fairly warmblooded. I usually get colder in the air after the second dive.

I wear a 2/3mm TYPHOON XTS long john with front zip combined with a 0.5mm rash guard when I dive in tropic waters, I never feel cold or overheated with this combo and it is easy to get in and out.
