Hey everyone, I'm looking to go south and do some diving in warm water in September. So my question is who can I goto to book a vacation? I've already looked at www.diveparadise.com (Cozumel) and they appear to be the cheapest. Are there any local travel agencies that I could goto that wouldn't be a total rip off? I'm really not looking to spend more then $1,000 on the trip. Also I just checked out http://www.blackbeard-cruises.com does anyone know anything god/bad about them? The liveaboard look's awsome!

Thanks,
Corey

Corey,
If you're thinkin' Coz, give the Cozumel forum a peeksee...you're sure to find a wealth of information regarding the various dive ops and accomodations from some pretty seasoned Coz divers. I'm just a newbee to those waters, however, on a recent trip, we saved by booking flight through funjet.com (check the air only specials...Cozumel seems to be a staple) and accomodations with sunfinder.com...7 nights at the Presidente in deluxe ocean-front and airfare (direct) from Chicago, paid $1900 for 2 persons. There's deals out there, just gotta do your homework...enjoy!

Edited to simply rave about Tony & Suzanne Castillo's Emerald Dolphin Dive...again, this was our first time to Coz but we couln't have been more pleased with our experience. However, again, check out the Coz forum for an exhaustive review of the many dive operators.
