Yeah the trips we plan to Coz are certainly not adventurous - as they are so well developed and take such good care of us, while retaining much of the island's charm. It's not the location of a sleepy fishing village it was in WWII when we set up a facility there, but it's still charming.
I would like to do something a little more like a real adventure someday soon - flying into Cancun, renting a car, and driving down to Xcalac close to Belize, much less developed area with a few dive ops who run to an offshore reef with wrecks. Hey, there's a dive flag on the map....
