VIS Report at South Whidbey

South of clinton ferry gets deep quick, 3' till 25', then there to past a hundred it was 40' vis, one cabby, 20 pounds.

Vis today, flying across possession point was some good vis and the kelp has grown very large, herd a boat go by and shut down, I usually can drift into the ferry to finish the dive, as no fisherman out now. I came up and divers were on ferry bouy, so I decided to end the dive. Great day and calm.

vis is just shot for a few days now.

Vis is awesome right now, just cant beat it, there was some great vis here this summer and it has come back again, and the surface temp was like summer time on the water yesterday.

Be doing a dive here in just a bit as sun comes up.

To day I dove twin 100's and hung with the creatures. It was great to have such good Vis, this same day two years ago was just as good.

Vis is still out standing, seen the water breaking from looking up at 60' had GoPro HD on speargun and figuring out iit all right now, took it to 101', no light just took GoPro it shows good so far, just not familiar with all the downloading stuff yet.

Vis is holding out, the weekend dives were awesome as surface was calm and sun was out. no pics as I am playing with gopro right now.

I tried out a surfboard with a dive compartment. very easy to move thripough the water with arms. I turned on flash and it killed all the pics, the video came out great though. Thinking tide ran a bit off so we will see after adjusting for tomorrow's dive.

Vis was great again and sun is out did twin al 80's for a long 70' or so dive and shot with gopro.
