I just bought a new Transpac and venture wing, after setting it up i realized that the tank yoke webbing from the transpac constricts the bladder when pulled over to attach to the yoke. Is there any way to fix this?

Hi,

Good question! With back inflation BCDs, normally we just tuck the TransPac carrying strap behind the TransPac and don't use it around the tank. Training agencies often teach that you use that strap around the tank, but it is not necessary. It is really just there to carry the BCD and it is your preference to use it or not. Many divers will even remove the strap altogether.

Hope this helps,
Kathleen

If you really want to use it to set your tank height without restricting the bladder inflation, you can carefully cut the stitching at the end of the strap that weaves through the buckle and reroute it behind the wing.
