Venice Beach, Alhambra September 18

First time to the boards and wanted to say hello to everyone. My wife and I have not been diving for very long but look forward to getting wet often much as possible. We live in the Cape and if anyone know some good spots to hit off the area beaches please let me know! Looking forward to hitting Venice beach in the next week and hopefully will run into a few of you.

I still plan on going on Sunday. If it's not divable, it's not divable, but I'm gonna find out for sure.

I'm tempted for Sunday just to see for myself too. Are you going to Alhambra, 9am?

I've taken a look at the surf cams.. life looks GOOD on this coast... a day or so more and it'll have nice vis to go with it. I can't wait to give a test dive or two on my new rig!!!

Welcome to the area Soda.... I can't wait for sunday, if I can't go on the boat then I will be there sunday with the rest of everyone.

Hopefully in the next two weeks we can hit ft myers offshore Wahoooooo finish what we tried last month before CharLEE LOL.

My wife and I have done mostly drift diving, but want to do some beach diving. Maybe get into some spearfishing.

Cape Coral.. I think Nova and I can assist with the spearfishing bit.. we use his boat and go outsite exploring when weather permits good conditions. Shore dives for us in the Lee county area is Englewood Beach and northward through Bradenton or the East coast. Its all good diving, fun stuff, and varies depending on where you go.
