Unfortunately, this weekend I can only make it on Sunday, so far. Still looking for a babysitter for Saturday.

I talked to the guys @ Florida West Scuba. The viz is zero, and significant winds are expected to continue from the west, over the next couple of days. So, Walter is right, undivable...

When I go to Ft Myers Beach and see people surfing, I know for a fact the rest of this side of the coast is getting waves that are no fun to dive in.

SmokeAire:
I'll be at Venice Sat. also. If the diving is bad then I'll make a visit to the Fl. Aquaraium and stand in front of the fishies staring at them wistfully.
Maybe you could rummage in the dirt as well, believing teeth to be there, or just pluck your own out (string and door required) to take home a souvenir of your hunting trip

It will calm down soon, just probably not this weekend! We will hopefully be ready to dive it when it has calmed down.

Any word on conditions at VB? Should we bag our trip there tomorrow?

Just hit the springs, you know you want to!!

Sunday might also be diving the springs, a friend of Becky's is tagging along, just dont know where we shall go yet - have to get some wet stuff in before the next big downpour next week continues the spring blowout!

Florida West Scuba says it's not diveable for at least a few more days. They cancelled their charters through the weekend.

I think I'll wait until next weekend.

I still plan on going on Sunday. If it's not divable, it's not divable, but I'm gonna find out for sure.

Take your board, just in case!!

Consider it bagged.
