DaDon:
Yeah we knew there would be mockey...
Mockey is sometimes brought upon oneself.

Likely, DaDon was making a veiled reference to his long winded harangue a few years ago about the loss of a DM and a diver, both on the same day at CCV. Altho it was apparently resolved to the satisfaction of all parties involved, DaDon always believed that he was due all the ugly details. He could never quite understand that the release of those details was limited by the decisions of the involved parties. He stamped his feet here and elsewhere for three or more months.
Previous to that, he was off on a prolonged rant in regards to
not having any life jackets out and visible on the day-dive boats in Honduras. They were open deck affairs, diesel fueled (not known to ignite) and if an incident ever arose- most passenger divers would prefer jumping into the ocean with gear-on or just in their wetsuits. That earworm captivated his attentions for at least two months. No such incidents "requiring" the use of life jackets, much less the need to abandon ship, have occurred in 30 years as far as I can tell.
As I just stated previously, the more you read from individual posters, the more you read of their posting history, the better indication you'll get of the value of their information.
On a more positive note, in terms of better acquitting
the Bay Islands Voice as a reputable news source, here
A Bird's Eye View on the Impact of the Island's Growth they go into the fact that rampant land development (the new cruise ship facility being one of the featured), that Roatan was literally washing into the Sea.
