I think it's funny that I am always jumping in to answer Keys questions, but today I have one of my own!!

Can anyone tell me which restaurants in the upper Keys (Key Largo, Tavernier, and Islamorada) allow you to bring a small dog? There are many outdoor restaurants, but I can't "assume" that a doggy is allowed. Please let me know of any that you are aware of.

Oh...and this is why I'm asking! Please give a warm welcome to Barkley, my baby boy Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and my newest kayaking buddy!

Wahoos,Island grill,Lorelei and hogs heaven. These dogs were observed at the outdoor bars and tables.

snappers(outside tables), island grill(outside dining only) and the lorelei(no restrictons and my #1choice if bringing your canine friends) are all dog friendly. of course, alabama jacks on card sound rd. and sharkeys, for drinks and appetizers,,,,,,,,

Papa Joe's at the south end of Islamorada. The dog got faster service than I did!:11:

Papa Joes has been closed down for a while now

I guess it's been a while... :11:

Well, Sharkey's is "pet friendly." You'll meet some of the locals - people you've read about on this board. But after looking at your pics I'm thinking your pooches might be considered hor d'eurves there.

You mean I'll see some of my old neighbors...I used to live down there. :rofl3: I just didn't know where the dawg friendly eateries were.

(Actually only the little one is mine...the pic was taken at the breeder's home and the dawg in the background is an English Toy Spaniel and a real sweetiepie!)

Barkley is almost as cute as my Brittany Spaniel!!! You can eat outside at Sundowners and Senior Frijoles as well as Sharkeys/Galley. Who knows you just might run into Roxy there!! Looking forward to meeting him......he is sooooooo cute!
