Friday- a week from today.

And, Becky, you DON'T want to go on a dive vacation NOW! There's nothing worse than being in paradise and NOT being able to dive! I was congested/sore throat/sore ears all last week and I was getting worried that I wouldn't be able to dive!

Besides... how could a 90 ft wreck with amazing fish (I have to buy a fish identification card, now), sea turtles, manta rays and an octopus compare with a good ol' game of Scubuno (on topic- see)?

I didn't mean right this very second . . .just sometime. Glad that the congesting/throat/ear thing cleared up so you could get in the dives.

And I don't think the wrecks, fish, and other wildlife could come close to comparing with ScubUNO. It (the wrecks, fish, and other wildlife, not ScubUNO) sounds a lot better.

(but just think- with all the NOT diving you're doing you'll be able to save up to dive!).

LOL . . .I know. Yesterday was payday, wrote out all the bills, looked at the check book and thought "Hmmm . . .I have enough left to do a day of diving". Stupid ear.

Payday...I've heard of having those...

At least the ear's feeling better, right?

Oh yeah. No more shooting pains . . .just mildly "itchy" feeling now. And doesn't feel as clogged/blocked either. Happy thoughts inded.

My mom and dad are coming home from Honduras tomorrow... and Dad never did get to dive... mom has done several. Dad has just been sick, sinus and chest congestion, and cough, so I feel really bad for him. He had really been looking forward to diving, and couldn't.

I did invite him to the treasure hunt and scubuno games though.... (see, I'm still on topic too :))

You're poor dad . . .so close to all that diving goodness...

I know... at least TG got better, and is able to dive.

Hey... an idea.... hows about adding another page to the website so we can list all the folks that have played ScubUNO with us. Whoever plays, can be automatically listed as an "official" member. Whatcha think? We could add Barracuda2, Rod, Komi Hunter, etc... and the list will continue to grow. I believe Divin' Hoosier is gonna play this weekend! WoooHooo!

We did the Rescue thing at Vortex Spring early Friday, but with all the rescuing each other, Rachel and I couldn't get any ScubUNO in. Then we got blown out of the Gulf for Friday's night dives, so there was no water in which to play. Then we got blown out of the Gulf to Morrison Spring for Saturday morning's dives, and we didn't get to play there, either. Then we wanted to get in a jetty dive at slack tide, but the vis was untenable (even if urchins do make great card holders). Then we got blown out of the Gulf for Saturday's attempt at getting the night dives in, so no play then. Then we got blown out of the Gulf to Vortex Spring for this morning's dives, and once we finished everything, it was time to go home, so no ScubUNO today, either.

So, basically, we had no saltwater exposure all weekend, and no opportunity to play ScubUNO either, but Rachel and I have now added Rescue and Search & Recovery to our portfolios. I'm only ahead of her by NAUI Master Scuba Diver, but even if we made up ISOSAD certs, all the games I've played were against her... ;)

Hmmm... ISOSAD c-cards... hmmmmm... ISOSAD "Sea-Cards"... Too bad custom-branded plastic playing cards would likely cost so terribly much. :D
