Looking for a compairable product. the UnderArmour brand is about $50.00 where I live so I'm looking for a less expensive copy. I have copy of the regular underarmour made by Wilson, etc but I've never seen a copy of the "ColdGear".

Or is the ColdGear so effective as a base layer that I should just pony up the $50.00 for the tops?

I will be using this as a base layer in my Drysuit under my undies!

THe under armour cold gear is worth it I played football when it first came out and the cold gear and the heat gear is the best $h!t ever made. I love it.

American Wave International makes very high quality products that are less expensive than Under Armour. I have purchased several items from them and in my opinion they may even be made better than UA. Here is a link they sell a lot of gear on ebay.

Cold Gear seems worth it to me. I wore my turtle neck shirt every day of the hunting season last year and noticed a big difference. I havent tried anything else out, and this year no hunting for me only work.

Wait Wait Wait

Have you ever worn the UA Cold Gear as a layer for the dry suit instead of your land activity?

It didn't work based on my try. The mid-weighted underwear fleece is much much better.

For Diving: Down to about +40F I wear top and bottom UnderArmour Cold Gear and a light weight fleece sweat suit. Very comfy. Once I get down in the +30F range I switch to a pair of compression boxer style shorts and a heavy weight Andy's fleece.

Thanks everyone. I've been using Heavy weight Polartec Powderstretch as my base layer. The UA may not be better than what I already have. I will also check the ebay link.
