So my Oceanic geo has been broken for ages and i want a nice new computer that is wrist mounted.

Im tempted with the Oceanic OC-1 but its exxxxpensive!
I haven't heard much about the Tusa IQ-950, but it looks nice and pretty cheap for a wireless computer.

Tusa Zen Air Integrated Wrist Dive Computer (IQ-950)

Has anyone heard any pros/cons about it or Tusa as a computer maker??

thx

I would be concerned that the Tusa algorithm, based on Buhlmann ZHL-16c, would be too conservative for me. I'm fond of the Oceanic Pelagic DSAT algorithm and used a Pro Plus, then a Pro Plus 2, now a VT3. Oceanic dual algorithm computers allow you to match more conservative computers if you feel the need to. You can always base your NDL on the more conservative computer in the group if you want to.

Good diving, Craig

I have one of these as does my most common dive buddy. We have both had them for about 6 months and a couple hundred dives.

I have to say that I love this computer. It can be set for 3 different transmitters. This is nice to see how short I am cutting my buddy's dive (since he doesn't breathe).

Although I haven't tested it as a deco computer, it should allow 2 EANx gas switches based on the manual.

I have not had any problems with the transmitter losing signal or stopping the proper pressure display.

I am not a huge fan of the navigation (coming from a different computer mfg) but that will get better over time.

For the price, I don't think this computer can be beat. The only feature it is missing is a digital compass (not something I like anyway).
