Does anybody have an opinion on the TUSA RS-130? Scuba Toys has a package at a good price ($350), and it seems to meet my wants: balanced first stage, adjustable second.

Any advice appreciated.

Dont know about that one. But I do have the TUSA Imprex its maybe 14 or 15 years old.I bought it on ebay for $100. Ive owned it the last couple of years. The first stage is a Balanced Flow Thru Piston, second stage is adjustable. TUSA says you can dive it down to 40 degrees. Ive had it to 100 ft and 48 degrees. It works great. If it ever wears out I would buy another TUSA. Hope this helps.

Nothing wrong with the reg, but if you start diving a lot, you'll just want to get a better regulator later and end up spending more in the long run replacing it (buying 2 regs instead of one now).... just something to think about.

(of course you could always convert this to a pony bottle reg later in life also)
