Huh, this is a strange thread. It's simple.

Take whatever gear carrying device is appropriate to the boat and the dive, that will still carry your gear.

Depending on the diving - depends on how much stuff I take. I surely don't take the same amount of stuff for an easy peasy shallow reef dive as I do for a deep wreck.

Very often I do take that old trusty Akona bag with wheels. Being the inexperienced kinda diver that I am yanno.
