hello all TSD's

dano here. i'm moving out that way at the end of the month. i will need some advice on the 5 W's for diving out there, but not really "why". diving, spearfishing...salt, fresh whatever.

anyway. looking forward to meeting you folks and some good dives

Texas is big, where ya headed?

Most of what we do is lakes. Spearing fresh water is limited to carp and sunfish. Saltwater depends on where you are.

There is plenty of spearfishing. The problem is that to get to good water you normally have to make a 25+ mile boat ride and kind of limited to a few months a year. If you are looking for Texas spearfishing infomation I would suggest a few other websites.
