A buddy of mine used to call his a Trash Pack. He finally got a backplate and sold the DiveRite on Ebay.

The transpac has a multitude of superfluous D-rings which can't be moved. Its got plastic buckles to break. Its got loose straps flapping. The actual holder part (behind the pad) is fabric and parts can rip or threading could come undone (sight unseen too). Its got useless padding. I had one years ago, Ebayed it years ago.
