I was wondering what does DIR think of the Dive Rite Transpac or does DIR just support BP/W setups ?

It's my understanding that the transpac is not DIR as it has added failure points.

Just BP/W setups. :) Go here for more info about gear configurations.

Not much.

You can do a lot better, for a lot less cash.

It's a perfect compromise between a BP/W rig and a traditional BCD.

Unfortunately, of course, that means that it has all of the drawbacks of a traditional BCD, with almost none of the benefits of a BP/W.

:D

Well, almost...

Yeah, I struggled with using that pic but it was the best I could find at 1am. I figured someone would call me on it but didn't think it would only take 5 minutes!

Yeah, I guess that's the pic I was looking for at 1am. Even came a cross a tiny thumbnail version, but the OMS pic was/is staged a bit better. (Even with an extra d-ring.)
