I'm a Fish!
Need something easy to read like the Oceanic Pro Plus 2 yet more practical for use such as a wrist mount.

Not thrilled with the setup of the Cobra 3 by Suunto, it is hard to read and the right side button gets in the way of the display on that side.

What tends to have the best reliability, easy to read display with a solid reputation for the company and product itself?

Galileo LUNA or SOL

Too many choices?
Yes indeed!

Almost 100 different models in the Dive Computers Research Tool.
Some of them have videos so you can see them in action.

Alberto (aka eDiver)

Looks like the Galileo series have a hefty price tag for a beginner like me. I can afford it but is it necessary for a recreational diver?

Go with Oceanic VT3

In addition to the Oceanic VT3 you might want to also consider the Aeris Elite T3.
Both Oceanic and Aeris are owned but the same company. Both dive computers are made by Pelagic. I prefer the way the data is presented on the Aeris Elite T3 better than the data presentation on the Oceanic VT3.

I own the Aeris Elite T3 and I am very happy with it. I have had no trouble whatsoever with the computer and I also own an Aeris ATMOS AI and never had any problems with it (air integrated console style computer).

See the link below for the Aeris Elite T3.

Amazing. I was looking at the VT3 as an option because it does more than the Pro Plus 2 and it is easy to read. Nice to have a recommendation for something i was already doing research on.

Do some research on the Genesis React Pro.. Very easy to set-up and operate.

BTW. We plan to release the VT3 Online Class next week.
