Well, the tub doesn't have diversity of flora and fauna I get when diving in salty...although it has been awhile since I scrubbed the tub. :11:

Go to the pet store then. The critters should live long enough for you to finish a dive LOL!

BTW, everyone make sure you're hydrated for the Gilboa weekend dives as well as the trip!

With the care most pet stores take with their salt tanks, I think I might be better off in the tub...or maybe the toilet.

Hydrated? Are you planning tequila shooters or just cautioning us so we avoid any DCS problems?

Wrong thread... but I might be a no go. I've been feeling a little congested. I dove Gilboa on Monday fine (feeling this way- I think it's just allergies but not sure), but we didn't go deep at all. My best friend was here and she hasn't been diving in about a year and had trouble equalizing- plus, I think she got a little creeped out. So, even though I had hoped to at least get to the tubes and check out the temp, I decided to nix that plan when we got to the helicopter. If you haven't been diving in a while, you're having trouble equalizing, and you're creeped out, a trip to the tubes is probably a bad idea. Ya think?

Okay. I'll go post this in the right thread now. And I've been drinking like a horse. No, seriously. Water- give me a bucket and I'm happy. Preferably a bucket with a filtration system, but who's checking?

Hope you get cleared up TG!

Yes Steve, the hydration reminder is for DCS prevention purposes...I'm a mother hen, I can't help that LOL!

I thought you were a rabbit.

Does that make me Thumper's Mother? :dork2:

Yeah I figured. Bummer. :D

TG - Hope you clear up. I think ragweed is supposed to be in full swing. If you visit www.weather.com they will have a mold & pollen thing. Search for your zip or city and the pollen thing will be somewhere on the page that opens.
