That is the reason I carry a pointy knife instead of one of the blunt ones. Flounder can be taken with a knife almost as easily as with a spear.

You know, I actually have one of those. I got it as part of a set of gear I inherited from my dad. US Divers 50 cu.ft tank with hard pack, Aquarius regulator and an old US divers BC. I don't have the BC anymore but I still have everything else. The knife lives in the toolkit of my Jeep. That thing is indeed a beast of a knife.That's not a knife! This is a knife!
That's not a knife! This is a knife! Great for defending yourself from all sorts of threats from the deep! Who cares what anyone thinks other than you? Use what works for you.
