Working in a resort, I have many hours in the pools making repairs and also testing out gear, but I do not consider them open water dives. I do write the time in the back of my log book as a point of reference.

As said by many...I don't log pool dives in terms of 'number' but if I discovered something useful....configuration, skill...etc. I may make note of it for future reference.

I live in Seattle and I get rained on alot, I even dive in the rain does that count as two? Man I think I need a bigger log book

I have a notes page in my dive log where I can put down things that I learned in the pool, that I don't want to forget. Pool time is not a dive, and should not be logged as such.

Sometimes I set my regulator up at home and stick my head in the sink. Does this count as a dive? :D

I'd log that as two dives...and since you were in a house, I think you might need cavern certification :D

Do I need a full cave cert to close the curtains?
