And it's a nice effect indeed. Nice balance in getting the moving water effect and the sunrise without washing the whole thing out - you do any post processing?
How long an exposure? (I'm guessing 5 seconds or so?)
And I love the geological "story" in the big rock with the crack... (4th & 5th shots)
:)

yes i always post process (curves + sharpening). i used a 6-stop neutral density filter topped with a 0.9 soft edged graduated nd to cut down light up top and be able to get a good exposure for the rocks. exposure time 20-30 secs.

@koya: we were driving by 3am. you're too old for this :mooner:

last sunday me and 3 friends set off for a scouting trip for an advocacy we are part of. this time to remote locations within the province of rizal which are only accessible by 4x4 vehicles. people here only have power for 2 hours everyday. some schoolchildren report to school barefoot, walking more than 2 hours just to attend school. some are of dumagat-remontado lineage.

sharing a photo documentation of these places.

as rural as it can get. none of the usual visual mess of the city.

no roads. we had to travel over very rough terrain and several river crossings to get to the location.
