menage a trois? :no

Cool.... I guess I'll go ahead and do some posting over there then :) They look like they could use a few trip reports :))

Well turns out it's a little more involved than that... the "other" PPD on facebook is there to drive traffic to ****************** where he also has a section (you guessed it) called "Philippine Paradise Divers".... turns out that they have engaged in some less than ethical practices in some people opinions. They're banned virtually all over the net. Known for creating fake profiles on social networks for attracting traffic to their site, spamming, etc... I'm attaching a link for a thread on wetpixel that outlines a lot of it. Someone even found some of their photos being offered for sale by these people without their permission.

As you can see their name is blocked here on scubaboard but, the link does work. I'm all about promoting the Philppines. I've spent many hours (as have many other people) in doing that, not only here, but on other web forums as well. I do it because I love diving in the Philippines and I don't make a penny.

I have nothing against making money. We have people who post here who have business' there in the Philippines, but they aren't doing some of the things this guy is doing.

I leave it to everyone to make their own judgements. Personally I won't be posting on his site anymore. Here's the link:

I just PMed iDiveChick and told them to remove all of my photos from their site.

man, that sucks.

Yep, I left the second PPD site when Bill told me about the ************* connection (yes, I know it should have been obvious, but...). I used to belong to that site as well, but it seemed to use some fairly deceptive practices and I've learned about their activities that led them to be banned on other dive-related web sites. When I dive with the PPD, it will be with the real PPD! Speaking of which, I recently met a lovely Filipina nurse who lives here in SoCal and is a certified diver. Who knows what the future may bring!

Ha, I see that web site name is censored... good!

at least this is one that is not afraid of boat rides, dr. Bill. :D

Yep, Maggie... I may have "hit on" something (tee hee). She was quite excited about the invitation to come out here and dive. The seasick Tifo is a sweetheart, but our paths must take different courses.

Back on topic... that iDiveChick was hot (if she weren't a guy masquerading in chick's clothing... or lack thereof).
