The DANGLE challenge

Attached is a picture of me and a buddy diving the Salt Pier in Bonaire. (I'm on the right). I challenge anyone to show me anyone with a higher dangle factor (DF). Based on this picture, he has a DF of 7.5, made up as follows:

1. Huge slate,
2. Light One,
3. Light Two
4. Octo,
4. Computer/SPG,
5. Fish ID chart,
6. Airtight carrying case (The yellow thing on his right),
7. The camera

The camera only counts for 1/2 point because his holding it BUT he usually lets that dangle too.

On his next dive, he added one more item, but I don't have a picture. Dang!

Wow. It looks like he has quite a bit of air in his BC to keep him off the bottom...

Since we generally clip stuff to our rig when does gear become a dangle?

Your buddy know he's the poster boy for the Dangle Factor?

The DF could be the next MOF.

That thing IS almost an ETCH-A-SKETCH. Usually used for: "Is my first stage leaking?" or "I'm brushing the bottom!"

This is nothing compared to watching him enter the water on a shore dive. That is a truly wonderful sight.

It is NOT! And no potoshop either. I didn't even take the picture. But I was glad that someone else did. (Yeah, you can chime in "Mr. Photographer". He actually got worse as the week went on. I have witnesses. I swear. No matter what we said, he said that he had no shame. Or streamlining for that matter.

Now....I am waiting for challengers. Let's go.
