Remember: references to locations can be easily monitored by those looking to "gain" from taking that which is pointed out to them and selling it for profit.

It is well known that this thread is watched by a number of people who do not care if the bridge keeps its unique sea life intact for everyone to view...

Please remember that when posting...
Thanks

Very nice! One day, I'll be able to get shots like that! I just need to keep practicing (and throw a ton of money at my camera equipment! :rofl3:
OK, it wasn't a "ton", but it was a long vigilant and patient time watching so I wouldn't have to throw a ton!... :D

I did not mean to start anything by asking for the info that I did. If you check my posts you will see that I oppose taking anything, legal or not, from this area. I had no idea that people watched this thread to find out what they can destroy. That is really sad.

If I wanted some directions about how to find the wreck, which I have never seen, can I get it via pm?

Also, Force E, your work in sponsoring the party is wonderful, but I will be under water at the time!

Guy, I'll be happy to talk to you before the dive. I'll be at the picnic table by the playground.
See you tonight

And for all those watching this thread to harvest critters...swim south and east about 3 miles...really you can do it on one tank, I promise!

YouTube - decorator crab.wmv Saturday's decorator crab. Don't know whether it's worth bothering with video with my Rebel 550D. Didn't edit out the aggravation of having to constantly refocus by taking a still during the video-ing - just in case someone is considering purchasing such a camera due to its video capability (or lack thereof) under water. Also, I can barely make out what is showing in the LCD screen whilst video-ing - even with the readers in the dive mask. Still, this creature boggles my mind.:D

OK. Got over my hissy fit and edited the video down. :D Wish I could be down there tonight. . .

Cool vid Kevin. The D crab I saw last time was so different. The Bridge never ceases to amaze.
I'm up north on L.I. this week but I'll be back at Blue heron Tues. for another treasure hunt. Hope to meet you some time.

Thanks, Bob. Treasure, indeed. I'll finally get the wifey down there with me next week, but I'm afraid she'll be spending the whole time over at the big tennis tournament over on Key Biscayne. I, on the other hand, shall try to maximize time at *both* venues. :D

We'll be down Wednesday through Sunday, so I *know* I'll find *some* time for Jerry Thomas Memorial Bridge trollage (just noticed the sign for said name last time down). :D

You didn't start anything, but remind us NOT to post locales of where the critters are. Thanks much for the reminder. There are a lot of new folks and (good) lurkers that learn alot from this thread, and we love our bit of braggin!
