What a great day of diving on Sunday with you Kevin and Alex!!! Got to see a flame lobster (with claws!!!!) and an octopus on the Tony. Also a very cool anenome . . . pointed it out to Tim . . . hope he got pics!!! Got 2 lobsters and donated them to the Alex food locker fund :).

There were turtles, goliath groupers and nassau groupers . . . fish, fish, fish as far as the eye could see!!!!

As always, no matter how much diving I get to do it is always a treat to dive with you!!

Kim, you ROCK !!! as a dive buddy !! Hope to get to dive with you again!!! Tim, you are always special . . . :kiss2:

Many thanks Kev . . . looking forward to the next trip out with you !!

Terri (tas)

I had an awesome time. I think the dive on the Tony was one of the most memorable in a long time. Between the octopus and and the flame lobster it was a 10.

Terry I'd hang with you anytime. Girls rule!:D

Kev, Alex and Tim it is always a good time with you guys around. See you all soon!

Hi kevin,
have a question for ya. i just got certified in the keys and then did a dive in ft lauderdale. Wanted to know if i was too new and inexperienced to dive with you and should i wait til i have done more dives. I met you at chips house if you recall and john(jrock) and I may be coming down end of the month and was wondering about my readiness to dive with you. does boynton typically have strong current? what is the typical depth of the sites you visit? etc etc...............thanks

Well, if you can put up with Chip, you can survive most anything.... :D

Currents are generally slight\moderate..., and we drift..., so just go with the flow...
As a newer diver, unless your looking to take in an advanced class, the wrecks are too deep... so the reefs are where your looking, and they are generally shallower than 60', with one (or more) of them ~45' ish....

So, I'd say it's perfect....... just steer clear of the wreck trips.

And Trish, Boynton's reefs so much surpass what you saw in Fort Lauderdale. No comparison, as you can see by the pictures posted in Kev's site.
yes i see that (ive also seen other pics he posted) i think I would enjoy it!:D

Sure! It looks like Tim got you squared away on the currents and depths. As long as you're comfortable with that then you are ready for Boynton! Plus if anything weird happens, I'm down there with you and will help sort it out.
