Teric Battery Drain - When OFF

Mine has been dropping between 2-4% per week when off since I got it back from service in August. I don't bother turning off the compass or AI functions.

Our Terics are our everyday wear and are dived several time (4-8) times a week, year round. However even when charged to 100% and turned “off” and on the dresser they can loose 40-50% of that charge within 24 hours. We are both on our second Terics as a result of this issue.

This kind of battery drain can not be what Shearwater expects.

Have any battery, or other, changes been made in more recent versions of the hardware?

Ours are hardware 25016-02 A and 25016-01 A and both at firmware v18.

Hello, bought a Teric a few years ago and I noticed that the battery discharged at a high rate when turned off. I tried disabling the compass but that did not really help. I use mine almost daily in free-dive mode. The last time I updated the firmware I noticed that there were several thousand dives recorded on it.

Firmware = v33, Hardware = 25016-02 A
