Anyone ever use Tech Diving Limited's "TecPro" regulators? I was thinking about getting one for a stage bottle but wanted to hear something about it first. The url is:
www.techdivinglimited.com

Click on "regulators" on the left side of the screen and then on "first stages". I was looking at the TLD-TecPro one. Any feedback would be great. Thanks.

I have a bunch of them that I bought when Abyss closed down. I use them on my primaries and stage bottles. They work fine. I didn't anything remotely close to the posted price though.
Rebuild kits are a little high though - $49.
After these regs are ready to be retired, I'll most likely switch to whatever Dive Rite has out then - I like the fact that the rebuild kits are way cheaper and sitting right on the shelf at the dive shop.

Tom Winters, it is odd you mentioned those Dive Rite regs.....I am trying to find someone selling them for cheaper than my LDS is.....they are quite expensive there. I would much rather use them because all my other regs are dive rite too.

Good luck finding cheap Dive Rite prices. The best deal was John at Northeast Scuba with the free octo with a 2500 purchase. A friend of mine got one as his first regulator and is pleased with it.

Perhaps you should check out the Salvo regs ... as near as I can tell, they're just repackaged Dive Rite regs ... at better prices.

If you are looking for a small profile 1st, take a look at our SR1 regs, $150. Service kits will be $20.00. I like the SR2 for stage bottles, due to the HP port placement and the bend of the HP hose, but we are sold out. I don't have an expect delivery date on new SR2 inventory. PM me if you have any questions.

I will have to second that...I recently bought two Salvo regs, and I couldn't be happier. The price Barry is selling them for in incredible; All I can say is to get them while he has their price reduced.

I have one of the Salvo regs on my deco bottle. Nice breathing reg.

Not to mention before he goes to jail; his plea agreement was thrown out by the judge last week, going to trial. I'm buying all the Salvo lights that I can...

The regs are made in tiawan and several people rebadge them.. Oxycheq will be selling a rebadged version as well, but at at better price than both of the "manufacturers" listed.. He plans on selling only the sealed version..
