You got it. If they are delivered then you're right - it is likely 100% O2. If you see anything else delivered it would be Helium or maybe Argon. Forget about those for now. "Banks" are just storage and would be permanently plumbed to the compressor. If they are using the compressor to mix then you are fine to use the air.

Good luck and have fun.

Yes, lots of other gases there. Some of these dudes are regularly pulling 4-hour decos, so no shortage of tec-fuelled testosterone here either.

And that's the problem I think; the club is sharply divided b/w relative newbies (such as myself) who are taking their first steps beyond quasi-recreational diving and hardcore tecs who probably gargle with argon or something when they wake up in the morning. There is no middle zone. On this end it's a case of the blind leading the blind, and the other end is not too keen to answer silly newbie questions. The Internet just creates as many questions as it provides answers, and with technology changing so fast one doesn't know whether a review/guide/how-to etc. is recent and applicable anymore.

Boards such as this perform a great service, even if they do sometimes offer equally compelling but contrasting opinions : ) Thank you!
