i am sure many people have seen this before, but I was only recently exposed to this technique in the Red Sea.

Prior to this, I used to just loop my long hose over the isolator valve and hang the necklace by the bungee.

This method keeps thing more secure. I don’t think it works as well with a silicone necklace.

Beautiful but I still need to buy a smooth box to protect divers feet
as they step on my reg when it's on the deck as I'm getting dressed

I rarely dive twinsets anymore. I use the small bolt snap from my long hose, and secure it and my bungged second to the Right D-Ring. I then loosely loop the hose over the back of the tank to keep people from stepping on it.
