Talked to Scubapro US yesterday and they said the Mk19 is a go

The main difference, if I recall correctly is the hp valve assembly is different on the new 19 vs the 17/19 kit. Will the old one work? I don’t know, I haven’t tried it.
Would love to see a “new” 19 kit to compare with the old one.

I’ll see if I can get one. The part number for the full assembly for the 17/19 kit is 10.117.209 and the new 19 is 10.719.209

The Service Kit number for the MK17, MK17 EVO and MK19 is 10.117.045
For the MK19 EVO it is 10.719.045 (three Euros more expensive Dealer Price, no idea why).
That's for Europe at least.....

I can’t make out the part numbers, poor resolution of the pic, assuming you have a better idea of the numbers can you compare the the HPseat and balance chamber #’s and the diaphragm #’s and # of nylon spacers of the new kit?

HP valve complete number for MK17 EVO is 10.117.209, for the MK19 EVO 10.719.209
The MK19 EVO balance chamber is 10.719.102
Diaphragm and spacer numbers are the same as for MK17 EVO....
Strange enough, for the HP Valve (37) it says 'not available, use 10.117.209' if you try to order it......
I wouldn't know what could be the difference between the 10.117.209 and the 10.719.209.
Of course there are some o-rings different, but that doesn't explain to me the higher price.....

Thank you kind sir, I suspect there is no “working part” differences internally, since the swivel in on the balance chamber end can you tell how the swivel is attached? This is all just idle curiosity since the 17 meets all of my want and needs.

The swivel attaches in the same manner as the Mk25

Here’s a pdf of the mk19 Evo schematic

Thank you Bob and Newdive, that explains why its so long, balance chamber is buried in the turret end and the did a bit of shortening on the environmental seal end which explains the dual spring necessity, I’ll be sticking to the 17.
