Can the Mk11 Evo be converted into a Mk17 Evo 2? It almost looks on the photos like they share the same body and only the diaphragm retainer differs?
I bet yes… but sourcing the top clamp might be the blocker (probably would be the same one that sits on top of the mk19e or maybe even an old 17)
Someone with an mk11e of course has to remove the plastic trim to confirm it would even theoretically accept it 🤷🏽‍♀️

I’ve been thinking about ditching my cressi mc9 (tiny diaphragm, it’s my 1st reg, I keep it as a backup) in favor of an mk11 (to unify service parts); so if I find it on a good deal I’d be willing to experiment with it
