Bottom half sure looks a lot like the Mares 62x.
Sealed would be the 62x TBP. Unsealed is the regular 62x - very close to the Mk11.
The 62x TBP substitutes a piston head with o-ring for the diaphragm in the regular 62x. Pretty cool innovation. But not as light as the Mk17EVO II.

That Mares is an interesting design, I really like the concept, I must assume time traveling Mares engineers came to the future to steal the balance end looks because we all know scubapro wold never borrow a design! ;)

I’ll add my hoses and tank test it later and should dive it tomorrow.
Loving these comparison pictures with weight, and also loving these new reg designs from Scubapro.

Could we perhaps we see the new Evo2 Mk17 & Mk11 side by side? I amazed they could shrink the MK17Evo!!! So I wondering if the Mk11 Evo 2 size reduction is enough to give up the sealing?

Give me a few days, 17 is set up for diving tomorrow and the 11 is pre-packed for my trip but will dig it out later.

That Mark 11 Evo is sure nice and tempting :). Shall I spend the money again, oh, darn, Scubapro stop it!

The rest of the world is welcome to convert to U.S. Customary Units :stirpot:. We kicked the king out but kept his measuring system but at least we do not use stones and barlycorns :).
