TrashAir :snicker:
This split thread has gone on and on, when all was needed was one rational post explaining why the idea was bad.
This might be mildly worth something if they made Neon Green or Orange trash bags...
taking a white trash bag is about worthless. at any distance a WHITE trash bag in waves would just look like a "white cap" at distance to anyone searching for you.
You'd be better off holding up one of your split fins....
My mistake, got the two confused...Just to be clear, this thread was not split from the other discussion. It was started by someone out of their own concern for the validity of the idea.
never mind
So you claim you admitted it was a stupid idea and claim you're going to practice doing it in the same post? Let me save you some time and trouble Don, taking a garbage bag into the water is a major league stupid idea on many levels, let it go. This is almost as classic as your sub surface smb for compensating for poor navigation and buddy skills and the ultra classic thread about your "friend" going OOA and mugging a diver doing deco that everyone immediately realized was you. Let's face facts DD, you really should avoid giving dive advice....EVER, you are clearly grotesquely under qualified. Read, learn, but stop spreading dangerous nonsense.
WTH is a sub surface smb...?
As for the OOA thread, I'm sure someone here has the link, be VERY careful what you wish for.
