I just don't log dives
On a different thread there is a little "exchange of ideas" going on about white trash bags.

The basic lines of thought appear to be:
1- is a good idea to take along to use with a flash light as a marker

2- is not a good idea

Well, I'm bringing this to a new threat because I've been following SeaTurtleOP.org very closely, and considering that a few threads ago I was shown in not uncertain ways that most divers drop everything they carry, I want to tell others:

PLEASE DO NOT TAKE TRASH BAGS WITH YOU ON DIVES

As the plastic bag gets away from you when you put air inside it will hurt turtles.

THANK YOU!!!!

Wow, only time I've heard of garbage bags on dives are when you find them in the water and stuff them in your pocket/wetsuit to get them OUT of the water....

A Dolphin has been seen playing with a plastic bag underwater!
