Suunto D6i vs Aqualung i450t: Looking for some help choosing

I loved my Suuntos until I started doing some advanced dives e.g. penetration - it really sucks when you have to light your computer up with a torch (and Suunto's screen is glaring badly) or spend 3 seconds pressing the light ("Mode") button. Also compass is turning off automatically which sometimes is VERY annoying.
Now I'm looking for a computer with always-on color LCD and compass overlaying the data (like on Teric). But still not falling for the Teric because I like the GPS function on Garmin MK1...


So I can't really recommend any of these computers, but if the choice between only these two - get a Suunto. At least they have a support, unlike Oceanic and Huish friends.
