Well K....I stayed out of it as well...but I did read the entire thread and also the post over on the caver forum.

To me, they both came across poorly. Noe and his complaint, well friggan wah. It's a public cave and therefore accessible by anyone, qualified or not. Sure, they've done great work, kudos to them for doing it, but it's not private property, so they can make "rules" which are really only suggestions all they want, and they can cry until they're blue in the face, they have no enforcement. Go home and let someone else play in the cave for a while. We learned to take turns in the sandbox at pre-school.

Steve came here to defend himself, or whatever, but his posts are all aggressive and attacking. So what if Alan had some inaccurate info? Who cares if they're planning a 600' dive on mixed gas or a 528' on CCR....What does that matter to a bunch of recreational divers anyway? So he jumps all over Alan, who we all know is a great guy with only the best intentions, Alan even apologizes and with concern asks about one of their crew, only to be stepped on again. So, Steve's intention may have been different than what comes over.

Seems all involved are crying like children. Noe, shut up and share the cave. Steve, go make your dive and try not to die. Simple enough. Alan, don't sweat it, you're good with folks here.

Alan is an AWESOME person. I consider him my friend. I was only addressing the unfortunate situation at the dive site this weekend and trying to give everyone a little perspective on what happened. I would never have anything bad to say about Alan and I hope none of my comments could be interpreted otherwise. :idk: He's a great guy.

Ok enough already first off as the original poster let me say off topic and second :deadhorse:end this madness I come to this site to find out local info on events or to get help with something not to read bickering about who is right or who did what to whom (rant off). but to all you moderators can we please get this thread locked or something and if this post offends someone because they think I am taking one side or the other on this issue I apologize but I am not taking sides here my question was answered and we did not need all this drama if I wanted drama I can get enough of it on the boob tube.:trainwreck:

Ok as the op think at is time it would better for all if we change this thread from beating a dead horse to just bury it completley, lockit or whatever you want to call itand put a stop to the madness. I have less than a hundred dives so i usually come here to learn things or find out about local happenings not to see a virtual boxing match via words on a screen. so please end this thread if possible. and if some wnat to continue the can do so in pm's:shakehead:
